The Japan Courage Project

Un gruppo di artisti di Second Life, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, si sono uniti nel “Japan Courage Project” per sostenere la lotta del popolo di Tohoku, colpito dal terremoto dell’11 marzo.
Essi hanno creato una speciale opera da vendere per raccogliere fondi per aiutare la ricostruzione della regione colpita.
Fanno parte di “Japan Courage Project”: Ally Aeon, Solkide Auer, Typote Beck,Giovanna Cerise,

Treacle Darlandes, Harter Fall, Sandar Hax, Claudia222 Jewell, Special Jewell, ChapTer Kronfeld, Maya Paris, Penelope Parx,  Moeuhane Sandalwood.
Supportati da Fabilene Cortes, Nerd Bert,  Pixivor Allen e  Orsini Tarantal  della Crossworlds Gallery,  a cui va aggiunto l’aiuto di Mia Kitchensink e Yooma Mayo .
L’opera sarà messa all’asta Domenica, 10 aprile 2011, 1pm SLT nella Crossworlds Gallery.
Tutto il ricavato sarà devoluto alla Croce Rossa attraverso la Linden Labs Fundraiser.

A group of artists in Second Life – from around the rl-globe – joined in the ‘Japan Courage Project’ to support the struggle of the people of Tohoku, hit by the earthquake 11th march.
They created  a special artwork to raise money to help rebuilding the region, hit.
The Japan Courage Project are: Ally Aeon, Solkide Auer, Typote Beck, Giovanna Cerise, Treacle Darlandes, Harter Fall, Sandar Hax, Claudia222 Jewell, Special Jewell, ChapTer Kronfeld, Maya Paris, Penelope Parx,  Moeuhane Sandalwood.
Supported by the great fabilene Cortes, Nerd Bert,  Pixivor Allen and Orsini Tarantal  of Crossworlds Gallery.
Additional people who donated their time to help: Mia Kitchensink and Yooma Mayo.
The artwork will put at the auction at Crossworlds Gallery on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1 pm SLT
All money raised will be donated to the Red Cross through  the Linden Labs Fundraiser.

AURORA BOREALIS

Join and celebrate with us Solkide Auers latest installation, AURORA BOREALIS on February 2, Wednesday 1:30PM SLT. There is no need to introduce Solkide, he is well known for his art in SL. With his strong background as a builder, which he combines skillfully in his search for forms and shapes that are abstract, unexpected, colorful, he has surprised and amazed us many times. And thus he did it again, bigger and more beautiful than ever.

"Aquí les dejo un vídeo (machinima, como se llaman en SL) con memorias del Maratón Arte, para los que quieran darse una idea de cómo fue el evento dentro de Second Life.

Gracias a todos los que hicieron posible y asistieron a este evento de 48 horas por la Paz. Más de 100 artistas de una decena de países, 1400 visitas a la isla del Maratón, 70 países en el stream, 46104 puntos de tráfico, 7400 visitas al blog, son realmente un logro que nos ha sorprendido a los más optimistas. Todo esto a pura fuerza de amor, mística y aprovechamiento pleno de las redes sociales.

OMNIBUS

Mentre a MiC - Musei in Comune Roma Capitale - si sta preparando l’installazione denominata “Il Bianco a Tavola - la maiolica italiana tra il 1500 e il 1600” in corso ai Musei Capitolini, in un'altra zona della land s'inaugura la rassegna delle installazioni individuali degli artisti di Second Life.

Ad aprire questo nuovo percorso che porterà gli artisti del metaverso al MACRO di Roma, mediante video delle installazioni proiettati su uno schermo, è Solkide Auer che propone "Omnibus", una costruzione immersiva e "navigabile", giocata su geometrie e movimenti di luce.

"E' possibile concentrare il  "tutto" in una forma? - si chiede Solkide - Se il tutto è relativo sì; se è assoluto no, o forse si?
Più che cercare di darmi una risposta a cosa sia il "tutto" assoluto, ho voluto dedicarmi al contenitore. Una specie di Vaso di Pandora dove mettere le proprie emozioni e i propri stati d'animo, qualsiasi essi siano, in un viaggio all'interno di se stessi".

While MiC - Museums in Rome Capital City - is preparing the installation called "The White Dinner - Italian majolica between 1500 and 1600" underway in the Capitoline Museum, inaugurated in another area of land IMAGINE @ auditorium, the review of individual installations of the artists in Second Life.

To open this new path that will bring artists to the metaverse MACRO in Rome, through video installations projected on a screen, will be Solkide Auer which offers  "Omnibus", a building set and "navigable", played on geometry and movement of light.
